With the support of a generous donor, Hami Canada undertook the construction of a high school in the Pol Dokhtar region of Lorestan Province. This region was affected by the devastating flood in the western regions of Iran in spring 2019. Here, almost all of the infrastructure, including schools has been destroyed, and students do not have access to education until these schools are rebuilt.
